Randall Lofts is Awarded Rental Housing Tax Credits
Randall Lofts
has been awarded Rental Housing Tax Credits by the Indiana Housing and Community Development
Authority and NSP3 funds by the City of Fort Wayne. Randall Lofts is a historic rehab/adaptive reuse of the |
vacant upper floors of the Randall Building located at the corner
of South Harrison and Pearl streets in the heart of downtown Fort Wayne.
This development will put floors two through five of the Randall Building
back into productive use for the first time in more than 30 years by
transforming them into 44 high-quality apartments while maintaining the
building's historic character. A strong emphasis will be placed on the
Tenant Investment Program which will help residents learn about and connect
with the service organizations in the area.

The Lt. Governor's Awards for Excellence in Affordable Housing honors individuals or organizations who use creativity and imagination to impact their community and constituents. When a devastating flood displaced thousands of Hoosiers, the need for affordable housing options for seniors was magnified, and the concept of Willow Manor was born. Working closely with the local authorities and IHCDA, this beautiful complex is now home to 65 units of affordable housing for seniors 55 and older in Brown County.
